Handcrafted from a collection of vineyards that celebrate the diversity of Napa Valley's terroirs, this Cabernet Sauvignon brings together mountain-grown fruit from Atlas Peak and Spring Mountain, hillside fruit from Rutherford, and valley-floor fruit from the Oak Knoll District. Blended with small portions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Merlot and aged 18 months in French oak, it is a structured, ageable wine with an evocative sense of place.

The magnum format enhances both aging potential and presentation, making it ideal for festive gatherings, collector cellars, and thoughtful gifting.

THE VINTAGE
Significant rain in December and relatively dry, mild conditions through March created an early bud break. Alternating periods of warm and cool weather led to steady summer conditions that prevailed until the first week of September, when temperatures rose significantly. Cooler weather after the heat spell allowed our hillside and south valley vineyards to recover, and the grapes were harvested in great condition. Overall quality is excellent, with wines showing a broad spectrum of aromas and flavors.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Fresh fruit aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and red currant are mixed with aromas of nutmeg, violets and fig.
PALATE: Medium-full-bodied, bright, bold flavors of blackberry and dark cherry are complemented by notes of dark earth, anise and mocha.
