In celebration of Alpha Omega’s 20th anniversary and in honor of the 20 year partnership and friendship between Robin and Michelle Baggett and Andy Beckstoffer, this one of a kind wine is the epitome of history, friendship, and world class winemaking.

Alpha Omega is offering a rare single block bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from the world famous Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. BLOCK B1 is located in the prestigious southeastern corner of Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard and has been meticulously hand-tended for Alpha Omega since 2006.

This bottling marks the first time Alpha Omega has produced a single block wine from this vineyard, an extraordinary expression of terroir from one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious sites.

Rooted in To Kalon’s legacy, this vineyard reflects an enduring commitment to meticulous viticulture, sustainable farming, and crafting critically acclaimed, vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

In 1868, Hamilton Crabb purchased farmland on the western edge of Oakville. Ten years later, Crabb was cultivating the largest collection of Vitis vinifera grape varieties in the United States, including some of the first Cabernet Sauvignon planted in Napa Valley. Crabb named his vineyard “To Kalon”, Greek for “the place of highest beauty,” and was acclaimed as “a winemaker without peer in California” in the late 1880s.

Andy Beckstoffer purchased a portion of the original To Kalon Vineyard in 1993. Since then, Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard has become one of the most sought-after and consistently highest-rated vineyards in Napa Valley history. Sold only to a handful of renowned wineries, Beckstoffer To Kalon is perfectly situated on one of several alluvial fans that spread east from nearby Mount St. John in the Mayacamas Mountains.

About the Wine

The 2024 vintage began with significant winter rainfall and healthy soils. Steady, sunny weather during bud break and bloom was followed by a warm summer that enabled grapes to reach perfect ripeness.
