The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano. Established in 1993, the Foundation has funded more than $458 million in cancer research grants nationwide and awards 100% of direct donations to cancer research and programs. In its 28th year, the Wine Celebration weekend includes a morning symposium on cancer research, finely curated wine luncheons and dinners, and a gala wine auction.
