Festival Napa Valley Raises a Record $5 Million at the 2025 Arts for All Gala
Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala made history on July 13, 2025, raising a record-breaking $5 million for arts education and youth wellness programs across Napa County and beyond. As reported by Wine Business, the sold-out evening at Nickel & Nickel brought together the Napa Valley community for a night of extraordinary generosity, world-class performance, and a shared belief in the transformative power of the arts.
Alpha Omega founders and vintners Robin and Michelle Baggett were among the distinguished guests present at this remarkable evening. Their attendance was a reflection of something much deeper than a single night out. For the Baggetts, Festival Napa Valley represents a cause they have championed for years, a conviction that the arts are not a luxury but a necessity for young people in every corner of this valley.
A Night of Record-Breaking Generosity
The gala featured a stirring performance by seven-time Grammy and Oscar winner Jon Batiste. An elegant dinner curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Rogelio Garcia of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley set the tone for the evening. A high-energy live auction led by celebrated auctioneer Lydia Fenet followed, inspiring guests to give with remarkable enthusiasm.
The bidding wars were legendary. Jean-Charles Boisset and Kathryn Walt Hall each claimed an exclusive Parisian lot at $170,000 apiece. Notable Buy A Spot experiences drove additional excitement throughout the room. One of the most meaningful: a magnum party specifically honoring Robin and Michelle Baggett as vintners and philanthropists. It was a quiet but significant moment of recognition from the Napa Valley community.
The evening’s Fund A Need moment proved equally powerful. Bouchaine Vineyards proprietors Tatiana and Gerret Copeland ignited the room with a $1 million opening donation. That single act of generosity sparked an outpouring of support from fellow guests, all united behind the Festival’s music education programs and its newly launched Music and Wellness initiative.
Why This Cause Resonates at Alpha Omega
Festival Napa Valley’s reach across this community is extraordinary. Over the past year, the organization awarded more than $1 million in scholarships and engaged 250 artists. Additionally, it supported 90 emerging musicians through tuition-free summer academies and delivered 30 masterclasses. The Festival brought live music to more than 25,000 attendees, including over 8,500 children, seniors, and veterans at admission-free events. Every Napa County public school and Boys and Girls Club was reached.
For Robin and Michelle, this is deeply personal. The Baggetts have long believed that a thriving community is one that invests in its next generation, not only through education and wellness, but through the arts. That belief shapes everything Alpha Omega does beyond the cellar. From their role as Honorary Chairs of Auction Napa Valley 2025, which raised $6.5 million for the Napa Valley Vintners Youth Wellness Initiative, to their annual Season of Giving Toy Drive, to their ongoing support of the V Foundation for cancer research, giving back to this community is woven into who they are. Festival Napa Valley is a natural extension of that same spirit. Music, like wine, connects people to something larger than themselves. Both ask us to slow down, to pay attention, and to appreciate the remarkable place we share.

That same philosophy extends beyond the vineyard rows. The Baggetts believe a winery rooted in this valley must also invest in it. Festival Napa Valley is a vital part of that investment, ensuring that children throughout Napa County have access to music education, mentorship, and the kind of transformative experiences that stay with them for life.
