Chardonnay Napa Valley 2023
Crafted from vineyards in Los Carneros, the southernmost reach of Napa Valley, where afternoon breezes from the Petaluma Gap and morning fog create a long, cool growing season. Aged 20 months primarily in 500-gallon French oak puncheons to preserve its freshness.

Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2022
A celebration of Napa Valley's diversity, blending mountain-grown fruit from Atlas Peak and Spring Mountain, hillside fruit from Rutherford, and valley-floor fruit from the Oak Knoll District. Aged 18 months in French oak, it's a structured, ageable wine with an evocative sense of place.

THE VINTAGES
2023 Chardonnay: One of the longest growing seasons in over a decade. Significant winter and spring rains and mild summer weather supported balanced canopy growth, while cool temperatures and abundant sunshine allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, yielding a wine of freshness, purity, and elegance.

2022 Cabernet Sauvignon: Significant December rain and mild conditions through March brought an early bud break, followed by steady summer weather until a heat spell in the first week of September. Cooler weather afterward allowed our hillside and south valley vineyards to recover, and the fruit was harvested in great condition, showing a broad spectrum of aromas and flavors.

TASTING NOTES
Chardonnay 2023
NOSE: Intriguing aromas of golden delicious apple and pear with notes of Brazil nuts, cashew, apple blossoms and pie crust.
PALATE: Medium-bodied flavors of melon, peach and apricot accented by lime zest, crème fraîche and macadamia nut, framed by vibrant acidity.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
NOSE: Fresh fruit aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and red currant are mixed with aromas of nutmeg, violets and fig.
PALATE: Medium-full-bodied, bright, bold flavors of blackberry and dark cherry are complemented by notes of dark earth, anise and mocha.
