A blend of two renowned vineyards in the cool Carneros AVA that excelled in the 2023 vintage. Wine Descriptors: Yellow apple, pear, apricot, lime zest, macadamia nut, pie crust
Named after the address of Alpha Omega, the 1155 vineyard is in front of the winery along Highway 29. Planted in 1993, these hand-tended old vines thrive in the deep soils here and produce low yields of perfectly ripe, high-quality grapes that are wonderfully enhanced by fermentation and aging in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French acacia barrels. Wine Descriptors: honeydew melon, grapefruit, citrus, green apple, almond
The 2024 Rosé Reserve is a handcrafted blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 8% Malbec and 2% Sauvignon Blanc. Wine Descriptors: Watermelon, tangerine, cranberry, dried roses, candied almond
One of Alpha Omega’s signature wines since 2006, the blend of varieties in Proprietary Red changes each year based on the influences of Mother Nature. In 2021 the blend features Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, along with Malbec and Cabernet Franc hand crafted from mountain grown grapes on Spring Mountain, hillside grapes in Rutherford and valley floor grapes in Oak Knoll District. Wine Descriptors: Black cherry, plum, red currant, mission fig, anise, rosemary, truffle
Our Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2022 was handcrafted from a collection of vineyards that celebrate the diversity of terroirs in Napa Valley. From mountains to valley floor, this wine showcases fruit that creates an evocative sense of place. Wine Descriptors: Blackberry, Black Cherry, kirsch liqueur, Baking spices, cedar, dark chocolate
Renowned Bordeaux Right Bank regions St. Emilion and Pomerol are the inspiration for this wine, regions that typically blend more Merlot and Cabernet Franc into their wines. Featuring all five classic Bordeaux varieties, grapes for this wine were sourced primarily from our hand tended vineyards in St. Helena, Oak Knoll and Coombsville, crafted into a forward engaging wine with a captivating array of flavors. Wine Descriptors: Cherry, blueberry, cassis, clove, freshly baked bread and new leather
Atlas Peak is a huge open rocky amphitheater in the heart of the Vaca Mountains with vineyards reaching 2,500 feet planted in rocky, volcanic soils. The higher altitudes and nearby San Pablo Bay provide cooler nighttime temperatures that complement the warm, sunny days here, ideal for classic Bordeaux varieties. Wine Descriptors: Cassis, boysenberry, strawberry, bitterweet chocolate, tobacco, leather
Straddling the northern and eastern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains behind the town of St. Helena, Spring Mountain District vineyards climb to 2,200 feet in elevation across a dramatic mix of volcanic and sedimentary soils. Above the morning fog line, these mountain vineyards benefit from intense sunshine and wide diurnal swings, yielding grapes of remarkable concentration and complexity. Working across both the southern and eastern reaches of the appellation gives our winemakers a compelling contrast of terroir to craft this distinctive Proprietary Red. Wine Descriptors: Black cherry, red currant, cassis, huckleberry, dried cranberry, sweet tobacco, sage, ginger, graphite
Home to Alpha Omega winery, Rutherford is the historical centerpiece of the Napa Valley, with a winemaking legacy stretching back to the 1860s. Spanning just six square miles, the appellation is defined by warm, sunny days, breezy afternoons, and cool evenings. Its diverse soils range from the celebrated Rutherford Bench on the valley floor to the hillside vineyards climbing both the western and eastern edges of the appellation, all of which are ideally suited to producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Descriptors: Blackberry, black cherry, cassis, lilac, cinnamon, anise, savory spices
Originally a water refueling stop for the railroad that connected Vallejo to Calistoga, Oakville has a winemaking legacy that dates to the 1860’s. Oakville’s warm days and cool nights are accented by deep, rich soils on the west side that transition to rockier, volcanic soils on the east side by Silverado Trail. Both are ideal for producing distinctive, high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Descriptors: Black cherry preserves, plum, blackberry, purple flowers, black pepper, savory spices
