Lisa Porter Gilley Joins Alpha Omega as Director of Strategic Partnerships
RUTHERFORD, Calif. — July 24, 2018
Alpha Omega, a family-owned winery in the legendary Rutherford Bench of Napa Valley, has announced the hiring of Lisa Porter Gilley as its Director of Strategic Partnerships.
It is a newly created position, and a significant one. Porter Gilley will identify, develop and manage partnerships designed to introduce new luxury wine customers to the Baggetts’ three brands: Alpha Omega, Tolosa in Edna Valley and Perinet in Spain’s Priorat region, which together form the recently launched Alpha Omega Collective.
She reports directly to Alpha Omega Vintner Michelle Baggett.
A Resume Built in the World of Luxury
Porter Gilley arrives at Alpha Omega with 16 years of experience at the intersection of luxury brands and ultra-high net worth consumers. Her background is precisely calibrated for what the role demands.
Most recently, she served as Vice President at Robb Report, one of the world’s most recognized luxury lifestyle publications. There, she oversaw the magazine’s private membership club, delivering domestic and international services and experiences to a hand-selected group of discerning consumers.
Before Robb Report, Porter Gilley spent eight years as Executive Assistant to H. William Harlan, the legendary Napa Valley vintner behind Harlan Estate, BOND and The Napa Valley Reserve. In that role, she managed the details of VIP visits to Meadowood Napa Valley, served as Harlan’s personal ambassador and coordinated high-profile events at some of the most exclusive addresses in the wine world.
It was during her time at Robb Report that Porter Gilley first crossed paths with Robin and Michelle Baggett, and the connection clearly left an impression on both sides.
Why Lisa Porter Gilley, Why Now
“Robin and I had the pleasure of working with Lisa while she was with Robb Report. We found her work ethic and professionalism to be exemplary. We are very proud to have her as part of the Alpha Omega family. With her background, she is the ideal person to manage our partnerships across all our wine brands.”
— Michelle Baggett, Vintner, Alpha Omega
The Director of Strategic Partnerships role reflects where Alpha Omega is headed as a luxury brand. With the formation of the Alpha Omega Collective bringing three world-class wineries under one umbrella, and with a tasting room experience that rivals any in Napa Valley, the opportunity to connect with new audiences in the luxury market has never been greater.
Porter Gilley’s network, her instinct for high-touch relationship building and her deep familiarity with the expectations of luxury consumers make her the right person to open those doors.
