Our selection of Dijon clones shine in Toyon’s terroir while the breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay provide natural air conditioning for our blocks. With 20-year old Chardonnay vines (and one of Northern California’s premier equestrian centers), Toyon is a wholly unique multi-purpose ranch on the Napa side of the appellation. With its southwest exposure to fully capture the afternoon sun, and planted on water-retaining clay soils, it’s the rare Napa Valley site that allows for full ripening while maintaining the critical tension and acidity of world-class Chardonnay.
